Inflation is one of the most talked about issues in today’s economy. Once thought to be transitory, inflation currently remains near 40-year highs. Current levels of inflation are having a multitude of lasting impacts on our world ranging from increased grocery bills to delayed retirements. They say that two’s a party and three’s a crowd; however, in 2023, the extra guest is going to be expensive and will surely have implications on divorce matters.

During this presentation, we will discuss the areas of a divorce that may be impacted by inflation and considerations that cannot be ignored in your clients’ cases. We will provide an overview on current inflation and economic data as well as discuss how we got here and where we are going. We will also dive into the impact that inflation will have on business valuations, income and cash flow analyses, lifestyle analyses, and other areas of divorce in 2023.
